Summary

  • Stabilized 200 feet of a 20-foot vertical streambank while improving river access.
  • Installed wood and rock structures to support habitat and bank fishing.
Project Description

The focus of this project was to improve river access and bank fishing at the Magnus access east of Fayetteville, AR while also addressing a highly unstable eroding streambank. The existing streambank was a 20-foot vertical wall approximately 200 feet in length that provided no access to the river.  A combination of wood and rock structures were installed to stabilize the eroding bank, provide improved access to the water, and greatly enhanced habitat for sport fishing.
