Approach
How we work
We look for elegant solutions.
River systems are intricate. Our job is to find practical interventions that improve stability and let the river do the rest.
We plan beyond construction.
Restoration does not end when construction wraps. Projects are designed with a three-to-five year establishment horizon in mind so they have time to settle and respond to real conditions.
We address root causes.
Stabilizing a bank can stop immediate loss, but understanding why the bank is eroding and correcting it upstream is restoration. We try to do the latter.
We focus on natural function in today’s landscape.
Our goal is to establish stable, resilient channel behavior within the conditions that exist now, with an eye toward how these systems are likely to respond in the years ahead.
