Project Description

The Mullins Branch Restoration project restored an 800-foot reach of Mullins Branch on the University of Arkansas Fayetteville Campus utilizing Natural Channel Design principles and a variety of construction techniques to improve water quality, ecology, and aesthetics of the affected reach. The work involved stacked rock revetments, boulder grade control structures, channel shaping and grading, as well as creating public access points with stacked native stone steps.
